A Week of Service Review
In an inspiring display of compassion and community spirit, Love Boldly, a High School Week of Service that took place February 26-29, 2024, brought together 48 dedicated students to make a profound impact. Throughout the week, participants poured their hearts into serving others, leaving a trail of kindness and generosity that touched the lives of many.

375 Hours Served: The Love Boldly initiative didn't just talk the talk; it walked the walk with an impressive total of over 375 service hours dedicated to various meaningful projects.

12 Organizations: Love Boldly collaborated with a diverse range of 12 organizations, ensuring a widespread and inclusive impact across different sectors of the community.

42 Volunteer Drivers/Chaperones: A team of 42 dedicated faculty and parents took on the role of drivers and chaperones, facilitating the smooth execution of the various service projects.
Noteworthy Achievements:

Garden Transformation: A literal dump truck of soil was spread in a garden, benefitting prison ministry and symbolizing growth and renewal.

900 Bags of Groceries: Love Boldly ensured that 900 families in need received essential groceries, providing much-needed support to those facing food insecurity.

Furniture Assembly: 24 pieces of essential furniture were assembled for families in need, creating a more comfortable and stable living environment.

English Language Learner Support: Love Boldly contributed to the community by supporting 30 adult English Language Learners in their journey to master the English language.

Letters of Encouragement: A heartfelt effort resulted in the composition of 50 letters of encouragement for social workers, acknowledging and appreciating their crucial role in the community.

Activity Notebooks and Hygiene Kits: Love Boldly went above and beyond by assembling 100 activity notebooks for foster families and providing 15 boxes worth of hygiene kits for social workers.

Community Outreach: From preparing 1000 newsletters for non-profit mailing to sorting 100 clothing items at a nonprofit boutique, Love Boldly showed commitment to comprehensive community outreach.
Impactful Community Engagement:

Community Shelter Support: A total of 70 lunches were served, and prayers were shared at the Community Shelter of Union County, demonstrating the power of a warm meal and compassionate words of prayer.

Women’s Shelter Assistance: 25 dinners were served to the Women’s Shelter, extending a helping hand to those in vulnerable situations.

School Support: Love Boldly distributed 175 shoes to children in a Title I School, emphasizing the importance of education and basic needs.

4 Days of Friendship and Commitment: The week wasn’t just about service; it was about building connections. Participants engaged in four days of friendship, commitment, prayer, worship, and reflection.
